As the article described, “Everything is a choice and they’re all mine to make and to live with”. How did you make the decisions in violating the COVID-19 regulations and the Code of Student Conduct and why? What was the impact of the incident? Please consider how it affected: You, a Fordham student; Others students involved; The university community; The Manhattan and Bronx communities (esp. communities that are heavily affected by the pandemic); Society as a whole. If everyone acted in the way that you did in this scenario, what would happen in terms of the pandemic? The article mentions different risk levels for specific activities. Thinking about the activities you may engage in on a daily basis, what risk categories do these activities fall in? If possible, can you make these activities safer? Explain in detail how you will go about making these safer. Are there any activities you need to avoid altogether? Which ones if any, and why? For the upcoming semester/year, what are you committed to do to restore the harm that was caused in the community due to your actions in the incident? Reflect on what you have learned from the experience. How will this incident impact your actions and goals moving forward? Expectations for Reflection Paper Completion In order to complete the sanction, it is expected that you will take time to reflect on the selected topics (as indicated above), and write a clear, well-developed response that demonstrates that you have thought about all aspects of the issue/decision/behavior that resulted in your entry into the Office of Student Conduct. While this is intended to be a reflective assignment, and your completed work will not be evaluated on its content (other than to make sure you have answered all of the questions), be advised that your paper cannot serve to justify your actions, evaluate the actions of others, or challenge a conduct regulation. The paper should follow these guidelines: 12-point Times New Roman font, double spaced, 1-inch x 1-inch margins, and checked for spelling, grammatical errors, and appropriate language. Attempts to adjust the formatting outside of these criteria will be returned for revisions. All material within the assignment must be properly cited and failure to cite sources may result in further conduct sanctions. Bibliography and works cited pages do not count toward your required total number of pages. Minimum length of paper: 4 full pages. Your writing should reach the bottom of the 4th page.  First Paragraph:Please reword this but this is what happened. At that moment, I had two choices ahead of me: to remain in the room or to leave. My roommate and I had just gone downstairs to our friend’s room after dinner at a restaurant with him and one of our other friends. There were only going to be four of us in the room. As I stood there outside of the door, I noticed there was quite a bit of noise coming from within but regardless I reasoned that it was likely a combination of the two voices and music playing. As he opened the door, I looked inside immediately noticing there were a few more people in the room than we had planned. Although I hesitated, I pushed myself over the limit and walked in. Within just a few minutes no sooner than I could recall, there was a knock on the door and it was the RA. Every person in the room was documented and reprimanded for violating the University’s Covid Guidelines.
