Description
The final exam is a cumulative assessment that covers the learning outcomes listed in the syllabus of this course. Ensure you read and answer each question thoroughly in a minimum of 200 words. Your responses should address all elements of the questions stated and have proper grammar and punctuation. There is no research required and no APA formatting for your responses. Your responses should be in your own words as the exam is to show how you apply the concepts you’ve learned throughout this course into scenarios and/or explanations. The Final Exam consists of eight essay questions and counts as 20% of your final grade. Time Limit and Grading Time limit There is a 200-minute time limit and at the end of the time, the exam will close and automatically be submitted for grading. You will receive a notification pop-up approximately 10 seconds before time expires. If you leave the exam for any reason, the timer will continue and the exam will automatically submit when time is up. If you lose your Internet connection, you may reconnect and return to the exam where you left off as long as time has not expired. If you encounter technical difficulties, please contact your instructor. Grading Essay questions are not automatically graded and will not be reflected immediately in your Grades area. Explain why control is needed and provide an example of an auto company where there may have been lack of control and what potential outcomes for that company were? Question 5 12.5 pts For future planning and growth of an organization, it must understand its’ staffing needs. What are two ways an organization can understand its current and future employee needs and as a manager, what strategies would you use to ensure your properly staffed for future growth? Question 6 12.5 pts Briefly describe the three types of control. As a small, local business owner, what type of control do you think is most important and why? Do you think small business owners need less control than larger companies? Why or why not? Question 7 12.5 pts Explain in your own words the intent of using Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory’s for motivation in the workplace? Question 8 You’re a manager with 11 employees all from different backgrounds and culturally diverse. You start to notice the two employees from one of the diverse culture backgrounds laughing loudly at their desks and spending more time in the break room than allowed. You spoke to the two employees about this issue, and not only has the laughing and break time gotten worse, but the two employees are speaking unprofessional to the other team members and words have been exchanged between one male and with one female. As a manager, explain what effective conflict resolution strategy you would implement to handle this situation and negate any morale or unproductivity within your department.
