Development of highly selective polymer coated electrode to enhance the hydrogen evolution process

Description

In this project polymer coated cathodes will be investigated as a way to obtain a high selectivity for hydrogen evolution in the process. This is an area of general interest also for other applications, such as photocatalytic water splitting and seawater electrolysis, where electrode reaction selectivity can be challenging. The work is mainly experimental and involves chemical analytical methods as mass spectrometry as well as electrochemical techniques for current-voltage relationsships. reference: Daniel V. Esposito.
