The Value of a Liberal Studies Education The purpose of this assignment is for you to demonstrate your understanding and appreciation of the value and importance of a liberal studies education and how it will benefit you as you progress through your educational program. As we read selections from the different academic disciplines of comparative literature (Cinderella), philosophy (Pursuit of Happiness & Ethical Dilemmas), linguistics (Gender and Language), and environment/public policy (Green Power), we noticed how often our thinking crosses these boundaries of disciplines.
