Please do the task in steps. Instructions Read Read Kafka’s “Letter to His Father” (1919). This is a real letter Kafka wrote to his real father. He did not give it to his father, even though they lived in the same household. He asked his mother to give it to his father. Respond STEP ONE RESPOND to the following questions. For the first two, include a specific instance from the text (can be quoted or paraphrased) that you believe is representative of the accusations. Of what does Kafka accuse his father? Of what does he accuse himself? With whom do you sympathize and why? STEP TWO Think about your emotional and intellectual reactions to this letter. Choose one incident, sentence, or image from the letter that touches you (emotionally and/or intellectually) the most. Write one quote, and write one paragraph in which you discuss and reason through your reaction. Explain why you react this way.
