In this final essay assignment, you will analyze how various air and space missions and functions relate within the context of contemporary joint or all-domain operations. Scenario: You are part of a joint planning group discussing operational planning factors associated with possible US and coalition partner involvement in the Asia Pacific region. The senior leader of this joint planning group states emphatically what the group already knows: The challenges in a regional conflict in this part of the world are many. You are given some background reading on the situation in the region (see below). Review the Statement of Admiral Philip S.
