Rubric Your Application Paper should be a 5-7 page double spaced application of 2 of the ethical theories that we have studied this semester to a relevant ethical issue in business today that we have NOT examined in the course. The paper must be properly formatted, proofread, with proper citations (e.g. MLA, Chicago, etc.). You must use at least 3 other academic sources in addition to the theoretical material that we have covered in our readings. Academic sources are defined as books published by scholarly presses and journal/news articles published by respected journals and news outlets. A model paper will introduce the topic and your two theories. It will then offer a clear overview of the case drawing on news articles. Your overview should provide the details of what happened, what the scandal or debate is, and what the conflicting interpretations or issues may be. You will then want to give a clear overview of your two ethical theories and their key principles using our textbook, lectures, and/or professional journal articles. Finally, the majority of the paper should be dedicated to a clear application of your two theories to the case, showing how the theories help us understand and interpret the ethical implications of the issue.
