Instructions: Students need to identify a business organization facing a problem/conflict. Using key concepts learned from the course, students will construct their team case study and solution. The purpose of this exercise is to allow students an opportunity to apply topics covered during the semester with a current business scenario. Students will need to prepare a voiceover PowerPoint presentation with a slide for each number listed below. The group will submit one presentation and include all participating group members on the submission. Students will also turn in individual evaluations on group member participation for the project. 1. Group presentation is organized and clear. 5 points 2. The issue/event presented demonstrates a problem and conflict. The issue/event is current and relevant. 5 points 3. Individual(s) and/or organization involved was clearly identified. 5 points 4. Key background information was provided. 5 points 5. The source and focus of conflict has been identified and clearly explained. 10 points 6. Conflict management approach clearly identified and explained. 10 points 7. Problem was solved using the 4 steps in the model of problem solving. 5 points. 8. Based on your solution share an appropriate creative problem solving approach. 5 points 9. Explained how to foster a motivating environment by leading positive change. Students have flexibility in this area and can explain your motivation program based on variables from chapter 6 and 10. This can also include communication strategies and engaging others. 10 points 10. PowerPoint presentation submitted with voiceover for each slide. 15 points *Bolded items should be referenced from the course text and lecture by identifying the right concepts and connecting the concepts to your case study. Points will be deducted if this is not done.
