Femininity in Media: Love, Romance and Violence

Description

The main theme is gender and media. Therefore it needs to introduce the topic of gender and media in a broader way.  I need a short introduction about “femininity in media”, about how women are represented in the media and how it shapes women’s identity and sexuality.   Introductory paragraph with i) introduction of the topic and its significance;  ii) statement of the problem and articles that you’re drawing upon to make your argument (This paper draws from both Garlen and Sandlin’s article, “Happy (n)ever after” and Franiuk and Scherr’s article, “The Lion fell in Love with The Lamb” to analyze female media representation across two age groups: young children and young women).
