This essay is a to make a counter-argument. However, this paper has already been written. Please revise and fix to include the concession for each claim/point made. This is the only missing piece that you will work on in the essay. There are about 6 or 7 claims made in the essay, and each of these points/claim should have a the concession along with it to make it a better counter-argumentative essay. The video explains in details. A Concession is when you acknowledge or recognize the opposing viewpoint, saying that it has some merit. A reader of your essay is more likely to listen to you if you show you can see his/her point of view before you counter that argument. This is what what instructor commented on: “Nick, this essay has a lot of great info – in fact, I think after you fix it, it will be an A or B paper, but it is missing one of the most important aspects of counter-arguments: the concession. Without that, you do not have a true counter-argument (which was the point of the essay). Currently, this paper will be graded as an “F” at 52%. Please fix and include the concession for each claim/point you are making.
