Use the selected article as your reference, and possibly the Code of Ethics and/or End of Life Guidelines. Students may use references from the syllabus and text readings. Cite sources in the body of the paper where relevant.References should be current, within the last 5 years, unless they come from a classic. Choose a subject that affects patient care and nursing decision-making related to ethics. Please include the following in your paper and list them as headings within the paper: Label the following headings in the paper: 1) Provide a one half page introduction that summarizes the main points of the article, 2) Describe the major ethical issue or dilemma including the population and setting involved and related elements such as patient condition, culture, socioeconomic level, family involvement, 3) Describe how the issue is relevant to your nursing education and career, 4) Discuss your opinion about how the ethical problem was solved, arguing pro or con, and identify two statements from the Nursing Code of Ethics that support your opinion or argument, 5) Discuss whether you agree with the author’s opinion, 6) Conclusion: Analyze and discuss how the issue impacts nursing care considering  economics, use of health care resources, and  health promotion. STANDARDS FOR WRITTEN WORK. Acceptable written presentations are to be typewritten or word-processed and demonstrate acceptable writing skills. Papers should be typed double-spaced and should not exceed 3 pages NOT including cover page and reference page.
