Wee summarInstructions: (This assignment is for students taking the course for a 1 hour credit) Each student is required to select and read 8 scholarly sources published within the last 10 years from scholarly sources regarding one’s research topic. The student must complete an annotated bibliography that includes these 8 sources. The annotated bibliography must include the reference for the source written in APA style followed by an indented paragraph summary of each source. The references should be listed in alphabetical order and the summary must include a few sentences about the article content and about how the article is useful to the student’s presentation. That is, how will the information from the article be useful to support the research topic of the student? The summary paragraph should be double spaced and approximately 250-350 words in length. There is a good organizational structure. There are no or extremely few mechanical and grammatical errors. Summary follows the appropriate APA format. 2.0 pts Generally, the summary is focused and ideas are clear and well organized. There are very few mechanical and grammatical errors and they do not detract from the author’s ideas. 1.0 pts There are some problems with the summary and relevancy to the research topic and/or there are some problems with writing style, organization, and clarity.
