The companies that do accomplish this do so by creating a corporate manual. Much of what is covered in such corporate manuals are areas we will be discussing during this semester in our classwork. A corporate manual provides guidelines for the business in how it operates and how they address employee issues. Many companies view each issue and how to manage them differently. These are where the particular company’s ethics are the deciding viewpoint. Areas that you may want to consider for your paper are, but not limited to: 1. relations with your employees 2. relations with your suppliers / retailers – how you do business 3. how you market your company 4. how you handle customer concerns 5. how will you handle disputes with employees, supplier, retailers, and customers as well as any public relations concerns Create a document, no longer than 10 pages (8 pages minimum), double-spaced, page-numbered, that discusses the ethics of your company. You may cite examples to clarify a position. It is permissible for you to research corporate manuals to understand how companies manage and prepare for such potential issues. You must cite the source. (Wikipedia citations will automatically result in a 0 grade for the paper, regardless of how well written.
