The purpose of this discussion is to share with the class your favorite experiences/examples of storytelling and ritual. As you learned about in the online class content, theatre is closely connected with storytelling and with the various rituals we create as a society. This discussion will also allow you to engage with your classmates about this topic and give you a chance to learn from each other perspective and experience.
After reviewing the module, think about the powerful stories you have encountered through theatrical experiences (plays, movies, television shows) and the different rituals in which you have participated that are theatrical in nature (funerals, weddings, sporting events, worship services, etc.). In this discussion post, I invite you to share these experiences with your classmates.
