In this exercise, we ask you to look back at your own experiences in mathematics classes or times in your life when you’ve used mathematics and describe what these experiences were like for you. What words would you use to describe how working or studying mathematics felt for you. Task 2: Sketch a picture depicting how you would like your relationship with mathematics and mathematics classes to be moving forward. Same directions apply as in Task 2. Task : Write a short Future Mathematical History, again using a stream-of- consciousness approach. Describe in words how you plan to relate to both mathematics and mathematics classes. Again, fill one side of one page of paper.
