Scenario: Unifirst Insurance Group is the parent company of all of the New England Savings Banks currently operating in the United States. The main goal of this partnership is to better serve the bank customers with their insurance needs. Unifirst Insurance Group has been in business for the past 75 years, and its customer base covers hundreds of individuals throughout the United States. Unifirst Insurance has strategic partnerships for the distribution of its products with New England Savings Bank institutions. The aim of Unifirst Insurance is to offer a range of products to satisfy the needs of its individual and corporate customers, significantly increase its market share through the development of suitable products, and develop its distribution through the bank’s network. Recruitment is a critical activity for the HR department of the Unifirst Insurance Group. Having the right person at the right time, in the right place, is crucial to organizational performance. Successful recruitment depends on finding people with the right skills, expertise, and qualifications to deliver organizational objectives and the ability to make a positive contribution to the values and aims of the organization. All human resource management activities and decisions are based on the following key principles: Fairness and equity Transparency Teamwork Integrity Recently, Unifirst Insurance Group experienced the resignation of several key managers within its New England Savings Bank subsidiary. Management has determined that not all of the vacancies need to be filled right away, and there are now three open positions. The HR department must decide whether to use internal or external recruiting methods to fill these three key positions. To determine the best course of action, the HR manager has asked her team to investigate both options. Body: This begins on the page following the title page and abstract page and must be double-spaced (be careful not to triple- or quadruple-space between paragraphs). The typeface should be 12-pt. Times Roman or 12-pt. Courier in regular black type. Do not use color, bold type, or italics, except as required for APA-level headings and references. The deliverable length of the body of your paper for this assignment is 5 pages. In-body academic citations to support your decisions and analysis are required. A variety of academic sources is encouraged. Reference page: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hanging indent, italics, and uppercase and lowercase usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation.
