Part#1please post “Golden Lines” from Robin Wall Kimmerer’s article “The Honorable Harvest.” You can review the guidelines for the “Golden Lines” on the “Participation Assignments” document on the Assignments tab. In short, post a Golden Line that you find interesting, important, or thought-provoking, along with a sentence or two about why. Part#2 For this week’s blog post, use the strategies for introducing and comparing two sources that are discussed in the narrated slide presentation “Assembling and Integrating Sources.” For the blog post, work with two articles: choose Kimmerer’s “The Honorable Harvest” and Mourad’s “Thinking Outside the Bin,” PROCESS:* 1) Review both articles and find a topic that both discuss. 2) In one sentence, briefly introduce the topic, noting that both articles address the topic. 3) In one or two sentences following the introductory sentence, state how one of the articles addresses the topic, and then state how the other article addresses the topic. Part#3 You are to do some research and choose an Ecotourism destination based on the definition and outline from your text (P. 204). Using this destination as a case study, you will create a ’New Post’ in the forum below using the destination as your title. In your post, answer the following questions: What destination have you selected and why is it characterized as an ecotourism site? How is this destination minimizing its environmental impacts? How is this destination contributing to the local economy? Is the destination making positive contributions to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage and embracing diversity? If so, what contributions is it making?
