Assessment 1: Argumentative Essay This assessment consists of two phases. Each of the phases are due, as per the sessions specified below: Session due: Session 4 (Phase 1) Session 10 (Phase 2) Marks: Phase 1 (Submission of the completed Essay Planning Template contributes 10% toward the final grade) Phase 2 = 100 (40% of the final grade) Length: Phase 2 = maximum of 1500 words. The student’s ability to: read, write a well-structured cohesive, concise and logical essay and, present a substantiated point of view in constructing a coherent academic argument, will be assessed, along with their ability to integrate feedback.
