Hi!  I need an inquiry-based paper on how the American justice system has continued to fail African-Americans. We’ve just recently finished reading the novel, To Kill A Mockingbird, and need to connect it with our inquiry-based projects in our presentations. I will need to present a poster along with a written paper which I will be reading out loud. I’m hoping for a powerful, inspiring speech, and want to really touch my audience. My main objective is to teach my classmates something new. I will work on the physical poster myself, as I need to include creative and artistic aspects. I just need the actual information written, ready for me to print and cut out. First, I will need a 2 page research-based paper on How the American justice system has continued to fail African-Americans. This is my main idea. Please add in further subtopics and/or questions. Please touch on modern-day issues relating to African Americans along with the main idea. Talk about the differences in the justice system seen today from the way it used to be. How has it changed for the worse? How is this affecting African-Americans? Include examples of people who haven’t been brought to justice (such as George Floyd), and touch on BLM as well as the consequences faced (riots, protests, etc.).   For my actual speech, I will need the same ideas from my research paper summarized in a 3-minute presentation which should be about 1 page. This is the most important part, I will be presenting this piece of paper in front of the class, with my physical poster alongside. Please remember to connect the speech with issues faced in the novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. I am looking to give a powerful, touching presentation.
