The final assignment for this course is designed to provide an opportunity for you to reflect on one of the assigned readings or films for the course. Please do not choose an assigned reading or film that you already wrote about in your midterm assignment. 1) Please write a 3-4 page reflection essay. Your essay should identify one phrase, sentence, or paragraph from one reading or a quote from a film that was most significant to you and why. The significance you discuss can be analytical, an intellectual idea, political commitment, emotional, lived experience – it is up to you but you must tell the reader why this phrase, sentence, paragraph, or quote is most significant to you. [Content and Reflection 50%] 2) Formatting. Please include a Works Cited page using the MLA format for citations. 3-4 pages, double spaced, one-inch margins, 12 point font. [25%] 3) The essay must clearly identify the assigned reading or film, and the sentence, phrase, paragraph or quote that you are writing about. [25%] 4) You may draw from the course lectures. 5) This is a reflection essay.
