Please note that similarity index of your uploaded works should be not more 20%. The essay is to be prepared according to a research method selected by a student individually for analysis of any topical issue in social sciences. The analyzed phenomenon, effect or relationship between variables usually should be unique for each student. But if several students choose to analyze the same phenomenon / effect / relationship between variables they should use different research methods or at least substantially different samples. A student should plan his/her research, get the relevant data (e.g. statistical data from online databases), organize and analyze it and describe the research results. The individual work can be submitted in a form of a text file. A student may add supplementary files (optional, e.g. Excel tables to demonstrate calculations). The recommended structure is: –         Title page/slide (aim of research, method used, name of a student); –         Brief literature review on the analyzed issue; –         Analyzed cases (countries, regions, industries, goods, services, companies or consumers etc.), sampling method, sample size; –         Timing frame; –         Variables used: dependent and independent; –         Sources of input data; –         Organizing data, the way the data is transformed to fit the analysis objectives; –         Software used; –         Methods used and the stages of analysis; –         Results of analysis and their interpretation; –         Robustness of results and drawbacks of the method used or data; –         The way the drawbacks were corrected or considered (if relevant); –         Ethical issues (if relevant).   The exact structure of the work is determined by a student considering availability of information, method used and length limits.   Requirements: 1.
