How does Greenwashing in a CSR strategy harm companies in the long run?

Description

I am a second year business student. I need an Individual paper related to the course CORPORATE GOVERNANCE that has to be written. The topic is about Greenwashing and the paper has to be written around the Problem Statement that was mentioned in the Appendix 3. In the paper I would like for the topic to be discussed with some real life examples (Companies) related to Greenwashing. Also an abstract is required that is about max. 200 words (does not count in the word count).  I would like for the paper to discuss the problem statement with its pro’s, con’s, effects on company performance, firm value and come to a conclusion. (how it effects companies’ values, prices and sales in the long run while also mentioning the effect in the short run too). I would also like to be topic to be introduced in the introduction as well.
