Identify your social problem. Frame your main question (or questions) that will guide your research. 2. Select your sociological (theoretical) perspective. Secondary questions could stem from your sociological (theoretical) perspective and help answer the main question. 3. Provide background information on your main question or problem as well as your paradigm. 4. Review materials published on your main question (pros & cons) or Collect your own data through surveys and/or interviews. 5. Make sure your analysis is consistent with your paradigm. Use sociological imagination to suggest solutions. 6. Include a bibliography. Identify all sources. 7. No plagiarism, no material from the Internet (unless it is taken from a scholarly electronic journal). 8. 6 to 8 pages, 1.5-spaced, 12pt 9. Due last day of class. 10.
