urpose The purpose of this first assignment is to allow you to identify lenses for conceptualizing client problems and consider interventions through the biopsychosocial lens. You will distinguish among several models, theories, and perspectives within this dimension, including the medical model, theory of cognitive development, psychodynamic theory, learning theory, humanistic perspective, and existential perspective as they relate to social work practice. Course Outcomes CO 1: Apply person and the environment concepts to social work practice. CO 5: Apply critical-thinking skills when integrating multiple sources of knowledge, data, and research to analyze theories and perspectives on human development and behavior.
