Learning Module 2

Learning Module II To offer advice on this module, I highly suggest introducing the concept of critical media literacy in the introduction of the paper. Make sure to CITE the literature when explaining critical media literacy. In other words, ground your discussion of critical media literacy in the readings. Make sure to follow through on using critical media literacy to analyze gender and sexism in the music video of your choice. You are also welcome to choose  more current music videos — or older for that matter — as long as your paper provides context for the video and of course, answers the questions from the learning module. I also have to be honest here — I am not as plugged into pop culture as I used to be so I am confident there are music videos and artists who are producing novel work that push the conversation of gender and sexism forward, but I may not be familiar with their work. Subsequently, I encourage you to share videos and artists relevant to this learning module.
