You can cited a source if needed but it is not recommended Reflective writing about : The role of a health educator is to teach and promote positive behavior and physical wellbeing. By continuing to promote positive aspects physically and cognitively, students hopefully are inspired and engaged to get involved and participate in such behaviors. Health educators have the ability to influence positive social norms, establish healthy actions, improve their students health knowledge and skills, and keep students updated with any current illnesses that they should be aware of for any necessary immunizations or health screenings (CDC, 2021). What this kind of teaching and support does is bring positive behaviors and moods, which is very important towards safety. The more relaxed and comfortable students feel within your classroom, the less likely students are to engage in any negative controversy or behavior. It is not just about keeping students physically safe, but emotionally safe as well. I always tell my students and athletes, you’re only physically strong if you’re mentally stronger. Keeping the classroom engaged in various ways is definitely a great way to keep positive moods and build rapport. It is also important for health educators to address how students can stay safe and healthy outside of the classroom.
