Requirements: For this assignment it is required for each paper that you search for and acquire two recently published (2010-2021) research articles on the same victimology-related topic (written by different authors) from peer-reviewed social science journals and write an article critique that offers a comparative analysis of the two published research articles. While you can select any topic relevant to the subject of crime victimization, the articles you choose must be research-based articles in which the authors present their original research and discuss their research findings. If selected articles do not conform to this requirement, you will be asked to re-do the paper. It’s also important that the research reported in the selected articles focuses on crime victims or the response to crime victims, not on offenders. Papers must be typed, double-spaced, on 8 ½ x 11-inch paper, with standard 1 inch margins and numbered pages.  1. A title page including a very brief abstract summarizing the contents of your paper. 2. An introduction, discussion, and conclusion no more than 5 pages in length, not including the title page and reference page. 3. Your paper should address the following, comparing the two articles in each area: (a) the purpose of the research (authors’ problem statement, research question or hypothesis); (b) how the study was conducted; (c) research results; (d) the meaning or implications of the results; and (e) your evaluation and critique of the authors’ work and contributions to the field of victimology. You must include at least two well-integrated direct references to related material in the Karmen textbook. Your critique should address how the authors could expand on the results and what future research on the topic should focus on to add to current knowledge about the selected topic. Your conclusion should also offer your opinion of the two articles, including the strengths and weaknesses of each. What are the author’s most valuable contributions and what could be improved? 4. A reference page that includes citations (ASA documentation style) for both reviewed articles, the textbook, and other sources (if any) referenced in your paper. Correct use of ASA documentation style for in text citations and reference sources
