LGPTQ in Arabia from Anthropology prospective

its a proposal for a semester research paper in a class called ( Arabia imagined ). I chose this topic because I am gay and I come from that region. I would like you to include my personal story in the proposal as the professor asked to include reason for choosing the topic and it would be great to be personal. I will attach a CNN article about my story in here you can use. also please use as many references as you want ( article , books) because I need them to write the research paper later. the format is free. so don’t worry about it. but make sure to include all preference bibliography. I want the paper to talk about the homosexuality in that region. the challenges these people faces. the effect of the cultures and believes from one country in the Arab region to another. and difference overlook over time in contrast to western views for example. and connect it to my story and why that was the reason to write this piece.  again, you have the freedom of choosing all references sources you might need for this 3 pages , double space proposal.it will help the research paper later.
