Where is the historical primary source?

I feel that you were very ambitious with this paper. It seemed that you attempted to register the evolution of poetic form as it corresponded to the changing societal needs and expectations. However, you didn’t really establish societal tastes enough nor discuss poetic form enough to draw a relationship between the two. You need evidence and a convincing argument to show how an author/poem reflect outside forces and/or how the author/poem affect reality outside of them.
