Cite specific elements that one might use to argue that Enrique was successful in establishing Taino freedom. 5. Identify both de facto and de jure elements that would support the argument that Enrique’s very approach to resisting the Spanish was in and of itself evidence that the Spanish had already established their own sovereignty on the island and held firm its occupancy of the region’s power dynamic. 6. Examine the documentary’s particular use of language to end its narrative concerning the history of the Taino people and the Spanish “discovery” of the “New World.”        6a.
