My proposal- Time Management • Main Goal- Be able to stay on top of school work while working a full time job and being a single mother. • Basic Plan- I will prioritize my work, delegate tasks, overcome procrastination, and start assignments early. I will measure my skill by keeping up with my assignments in my planner and completing all tasks before due date. (I did sort of fail in this area because I didn’t turn some stuff in on time) INSTRUCTIONS- Specifically, start the Planning (P) and Doing (D) parts of your PDCA cycle. This is a personal leadership skill improvement project, not a group or unit project or policy change. 1. Uses the PDCA method for professional improvement. 10 2. Identifies a leadership or management skill to improve or develop; 10 3. Gives rationale for this choice and plan of action; 5 4. Lists goal and measurable outcomes; 5 5. Specifies plan, method and frequency of data collection; 5 6. Uses a graphic tool to present and analyze data; includes this tool in the presentation; 5 7. Answers and includes self-evaluation survey, questions 1-9 as specified in the assignment. 5 8. Evidence from the scholarly nursing literature supports the principles of the proposed plan. 5
