A sociological reflection address questions like the following: How does might particular phenomena exemplify or challenge course readings? How can you add to or expand upon what we already know about a given topic given these readings?   The textbook for this course is: Fitzgerald, Kathleen J. and Kandice L. Grossman. 2021. Sociology of Sexualities, 2nd edition. Thousand Oaks, CA: SAGE Publications.  Read the first half of Chapter 5: “Sexuality, Inequality, and Privilege” in the textbook. This includes the sections, “The Sociology of Inequality” and “Legal Discrimination.”
