Letter to finance minister, giving information to create a federal budget

Description

1) It should be a backgrounder written to the Minister of finance (IN CANADA) giving her what you think is the most important information (economic facts and theories) that she needs to know as she creates a federal budget.
For example:
You could pick a social issue such as Child poverty. What is the issue, what tax and government policies would work and what does it do to the Government’s budget in terms of costs and benefits. Or you can pick the Government’s budget overall with a variable like the Debt. You should show why the debt is important and how various tax and government spending programs affect this variable. What are the costs and benefits of the government debt.

There area all kinds of issues: small business success, climate change, pipelines, internet access, covid-19, immigration, the airline industry, complicated taxes, the military, housing etc. Make sure the Federal government has jurisdiction. For example, health and education are provincial and the Federal government may only be able to provide legislation and transfers.

2) It should be between 1100 and 1200 words, but the background report can include tables and graphs from other sources, as long as they are referenced. These words are extra. Use endnotes PLEASE, rather than a bibliography

3) It must reference a minimum of 3 ideas found in DPE. One idea must come from chapters 1-4, another from chapters 5-9 and the last from either chapter 11 or 12.( I will send you the details to my account for the DPE (Dinner Party Economics) and you can pick any 3 ideas you would like as long as you pick one from chapter 1-4, one from 5-9 and one from 11-12)

4) You should reference 3 outside documents in your report. (For example, documents produced by the government, the Bank of Canada, a Chartered bank, Statistics Canada or a Canadian Think Tank with an economist writing the piece.

(I need this essay to be really good , there should be enough time to produce something really good. Last time I posted an assignment here I got a 60%, which left me annoyed, im not doing to well in this class because of that so I really need to do well here)
