Description
The purpose of this assignment is to better understand the nurses professional legal responsibility related to criminal law, civil law, and informed consent. A 4 page paper (Including the reference page and does not need a cover page) in APA 7th edition format addressing the objectives. Must include 3 references which are no more than 5 years old and must include one of our current nursing textbooks. One you can use is Fundamentals of Nursing 10th Edition Potter and Perry. If you can’t access the book anywhere, I have an app that has access to all of my books that you are more than welcome to use. If you decide to gain access into my app, just let me know and you can also use the other books in that library as resources as well.
The exemplars are Criminal Law, Civil Law, and Informed Consent. The objectives that have to be identified for each exemplar are the definition of the exemplar, describe the ethical-legal parameters for nursing practice related to each exemplar, and analyze the roll of the nurse related to risk and quality management.
Paragraphs must have at least 3 sentences and at least 8 words in a sentence. No cover sheet or abstract is required. Minimal expectations include appropriate formatting for the title and headings/subheadings, if applicable; as well as 1″ margins, double spacing, in-text citations, and a reference page.
