Writing assignment

Description

This assignment should consist of 8 paragraphs. Using examples from the readings, discuss how American society became disassociated from death, or became a death-denying society.  Describe the authors’ contention that this has been a uniquely 20th century phenomenon.  Describe the authors’ contention that this reality has been changing over the last 15 years.  Include references from The Undertaking and Understanding Dying, Death and Bereavement to substantiate your answers.  I have posted pages from both readings you can work with. Make sure your work is thoroughly proofread before submission; your grade will include evaluation of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, etc.  The readings are Understanding death dying and bereavement by Michael R Leming & George E Dickinson.
