What is the limit of this? Sometimes no one knows whether or not there’s a problem until it’s attempted. Scientific advances may never come about unless someone attempts the unknown.   The purpose of this paper is to explore ONE ethically challenging scientific topic. There may or may not be a moral imperative of scientists to explore it. In any case, papers must identify one ethical dilemma in science and determine what, if any, imperative there may be. Sometimes there is no need for experimentation, but determining the need is not your concern. The focus of this assignment is to explore one specific morally challenging area of scientific research and look at the implications of it. For example, if scientists were able to add or subtract traits before babies are born, how would this impact the world and what makes it useful?      You have summarized three articles, and any one of those topics could be the focus of this paper. You are also free to research another topic, but it must be an ethically challenging area of science. Provide a thorough overview of the research that looks at what benefit there may be and what the drawbacks could be. Thoroughly explore the topic, presenting both the risks and the rewards. Use it to both introduce the topic and address the importance of the paper. Give it a focus with a thesis statement that covers the gist of what is to come in the review.     Body: Use the body of the essay to support your thesis about the overall topic. This section is generally an organized and balanced compilation of subtopics that prove your position on the importance of the research that was outlined in the introduction. Paragraphs should be balanced in length and each paragraph must have a focus that is in support of your thesis.     Conclusion: Briefly restate the importance of the review and the purpose of the article, then highlight any conclusion you may draw from the research review.
