Ability to analyse relevant concepts, principles and different approaches to understanding crime, including crime measurement, and apply and communicate this knowledge to a range of crime problems. Ability to evaluate how popular perceptions of crime, including those concerning the causes and consequences of crime as often portrayed in the media, relate to research-based evidence on significant crime problems. Ability to respond to the question concisely, with an appropriate focus and in the required format.
