Week 5 – Assignment: Assess Scales of Measurement   Previous Next  Instructions Prepare a voice-over PowerPoint presentation to present to an undergraduate class on research methods and begin by briefly describing the four different scales of quantitative research measurement that scientists use (nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio). Provide additional clarification to illustrate your understanding of the four different levels of measurement when presenting this information. Then, provide one example for each of these types of measures for your chosen topic of research. Which measures might you want to use here, and why? Briefly explain how each variable that you select fits within the four different scales of measurement. Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists, and should cite material appropriately. Support your presentation with at least three scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.
