I would try to include an example of a specific Inidgenous people in Canada in two ways (and it could be the same people): 1) to show the loss of food sovereignty with settler colonization and further loss through environmental degradation or change, including climate change; and 2) to show Inidgenous agency in pushing back through a specific instance of that. I really like the overall focus of your work, but as I said to Binglun at your conference, if you don’t reference specific Indigenous peoples, you are (unwittingly) participating in the erasure of Indigenous peoples.
