Description
A major theme of this course is the need to consider both the characteristics of individuals and the characteristics of their contexts in order to understand social and political phenomena. Your answer should take into consideration how the characteristics of people (e.g., psychology, rationality) and contexts (e.g., economy, society, political institutions) affect the challenge that you have chosen to address. For the annotated bibliography, you will read and describe the main argument of at least six(6) academic sources from outside the course syllabus that are relevant to your research question, and an additional two (2) sources from the course syllabus. You should devote about a paragraph to each source. Bibliographic entries should be formatted in Chicago author-date style, and annotations should be written in full sentences. For the outline of your paper, you should specify your research question, the thesis (i.e. your answer to that question),and how you will structure the paper to support your thesis. There is no required length for your outline, but it should be both detailed and clear enough for your TA to understand the overall argument of your paper. You may use bullet-point formatting, but should still write in complete sentences
