For this assignment, you will be designing a learning activity presentation based on our course content this semester. This learning activity will be designed for a hypothetical individual with limited awareness of positive psychology, but a desire to bring a greater sense of happiness and satisfaction into their life. The activity should be tailored to a demographic of your choosing. For example, current or future educators may want to design an activity specific to students. Current or future mental health counselors may want to design an activity specific to their clients. Current or future coaches or organizational directors may want to design an activity specific to their athletes or team members. Your learning activity should have specific reference to course content that we have covered this semester. Please incorporate and cite at least 3 evidence-based research articles, presentations, or research findings in your activity.If you decide to focus on only one of our Course Module themes, you are expected to go into much greater detail within that theme than if you incorporate all 8. The choice is yours. The Learning Activity should be displayed in Powerpoint (or an equivalent design). It should include specific content designed to educate your intended user, suggested practices with reference to research supporting the beneficial effect of practices, specific recommendations for implementation and integration of practices, and prompts for reflection by your user. You will post your learning activity presentation to your “Learning Activity Team” (same groupings as your Happiness Discussion Teams). Make a quick note in the initial post on the title of your designed activity, and then include a relevant link or attached file for your peers to view. As noted in the rubric below, you are expected to respond and provide feedback to at least 2 of your peers presentations. Below is a breakdown of the graded components of this assignment: Content presented in a clear and organized manner in powerpoint presentation format (2 points) Intended targeted well-being area(s) are identified at the start of the presentation (1 point) Intended user demographic and reason for selecting the focus area for this demographic are outlined (1 point) Content is comprehensive, with specific reference to literature, video, and audio presented in our course (4 points) At least 3 evidence-based sources are referenced in the students learning activity design (4 points) Specific practices are outlined in the second half of the learning activity. These practices are tailored to the intended user-demographic (4 points) Research, writing, and video cited in presentation is cited in references section at the end of the presentation (2 points) Thoughtful positive and constructive feedback is provided to at least 2 peers in Learning Activity group (2 points)
