Violation of my HIPPA rights

I need to a professional letter written to my employer MTA New York City Transit (Buses) expressing how degrading, violated, embarrassed I felt when two co-workers called me to ask me if I had previously called out for having a UTI. I was shocked, confused and I felt humiliated that I need to explain to my coworkers the reason I called out  (I need this letter to be written extremely dramatic) because I am almost certain I am going to get a lawyer to take further actions. Explain the HIPPA law and why what they did violated my privacy.  I did not call out for having a UTI, I called out for having stomach cramps which was listed on the posted paper.  However, I understood after seeing the list why they made an honest mistake. At first glance it really does look like the UTI was lined up with my name. The person that have the UTI is listed directly above my name. Needless to say, our personal information was not to be displayed for others to have access to.  This list was posted in the GENERAL PUBLIC of the building to remind us that we need to bring documentation for the absence of our sickness.  The list entails  1. First and last names 2.Pass Number (Id #) 3. Sick Status (which tells if the employee is in a good or bad status) mine is listed as BAD which is nobody else business to know.  4. Sick Time Balance (how many sick days that employee have in the bank) 5. Regular Days Off 6. The date of absence 7. The date resume work 8. The date the doctors document is due 9. Total day absent  10. Description of sickness listed (Stomach ache, Diarrhea, UTI, Gout, Fever ect… ) I was told that the General manager for my bus depot got wind of the fact that someone from management posted our personal information on the bulletin board and she ripped it down and replaced it with a more acceptable list. Excluding number’s 3, 4, 10…. but the damage was already done.  I kept thinking all day… what if I had a really bad medical issue such as AIDS or herpes or anything embarrassing… they would of posted it carelessly just as they did the person with the UTI and diarrhea.  As of today, I do not feel as though my private information is secure with this company. They have betrayed my trust (please be sure to include that).
