Name of Student:__________________________________ One of the most important components of your final reflection paper is your articulation of why this course has been a meaningful learning experience for you. The final reflection paper is not a laundry list but should include critical thinking, soul searching, and introspective reflection. This includes doing an honest assessment of your learning gained from classroom instructions, Peer-interactions, textbook readings and case studies in any of the areas of diversity that includes Culture, Race, Religion, Gender, Abilities/Disabilities, Socio-Economics. Your final reflection paper should be a minimum of four full single-spaced pages and should include the following: I. A detailed explanation of what you have learned on diversity and how it: (a) relates to you personally (b) relates to the current Covid-19 pandemic (c) relates to your future profession. II. Explanation of difficult or negative experiences related to any topic(s) covered and what you learned from that. III. Description of 3 specific strategies or steps (i), (ii), (iii) you will take to create an inclusive learning or professional environment and relate it to James Banks’ model (Contributory Approach, Additive Approach, Transformative Approach and Social Action Approach). IV. Must include a minimum of 5 resources and references at least two from outside of the course
