Write a 5 page report on a legal and ethics business problem that has taken place in this country or abroad within the past five (5) years. Your topic should be about a meaningful illegal and unethical decision made by leaders in for-profit, non-profit, or government (e.g. Wells Fargo, Boeing or Volkswagen scandals). At minimum, the topic you choose should allow you to address the following criteria: The focus is on a decision that was made (individual or group decision). Making the decision involved a struggle (intellectual/emotional/financial) The effect of the decision had consequences for a population (small or large population ok) Why this decision matters to you Use the Ethical Analysis Framework to guide your analysis. Write clearly, concisely, critically, and persuasively. Evaluate opposing data and arguments. Use available evidence to support your ideas. When data is scarce, apply reasonable comparative ideas from other disciplines. I encourage you to start the paper with your conclusion. This technique is very effective in an information overload world. Ethics report are submitted via Webcourses. The paper must be 5 to 6 pages (no fewer than 5 FULL pages), Calibri 11 font, double spaced, with one inch margins and use a minimum of 5 references. References may come from books, periodicals, or reputable on-line sources. A minimum of 2 references must be from peer reviewed sources. All papers must be original work written for this class.
