Discovery 1 assignment

Description

The Discovery should be at least 1.5 to 2 pages.  Do not forget to add the Works Cited page.  After you add the Works Cited page, the total number of pages should be at least 2.5 to 3 pages.   Please make sure it follows the MLA format: double-spaced, font size 12, Times New Roman, and 1 inch margins.  While you are reading an assigned novel, you will discover new things about history, culture, religion, social values, etc.   Select the new element of discovery and please research it.  For example, if you read something interesting about a particular type of food item, you may do research via web or books to learn more about it.   Connect the information presented in the novel with the researched information, and type at least 1.5 to 2 pages of your findings/discoveries. Do not forget to add a Works Cited page.  An incomplete Works Cited page will result in a failing grade. Any information borrowed, paraphrased or directly quoted from the source, needs to be cited in each Discovery assignment.  To avoid plagiarism, please add the in-text citation and add the a works cited page to show that you have researched the information. If you found the information online, please do not forget to add the URL at the end of the work cited entry on the works cited page.  Please view the MLA folder for in-text citation and updated MLA works cited information.
