Please see the attached “Assignment 2 Instructions” for detailed instructions. For this assignment, we’re required to create a map that contains activities available for elderly individuals. I have attached another document called “Activities” to outline a list of some activities in my area. After creating this map, we are to write a 2 page critical analysis with a minimum of 3 external references speaking on these activities on the following: MUST REFERENCE CLASS MATERIAL DOCUMENT TO INCORPORATE KEY CONCEPTS FROM COURSE.   Identifying the gap or barrier (e.g., economic, environmental, cultural etc.) that may constrain participation in leisure or recreation activities, o Examine the literature regarding the identified gap/barrier and ▪ Connection/relationship between barrier and activity engagement ▪ Perceived impact of the identified gap/barrier on older adults within the community. ▪ Broad implications to activity engagement What is missing? Are the activities easily accessible? Are programs feasible? Can all older adults participate? Reflect on the demographics and built environment of your neighbourhood. Are programs diverse and cover a wider range of interests and needs? Are there any obvious barriers to participation?
