Description

1. Could an all out World War like this occur in 2020? Why or why not and in what ways has the world changed since WWI that would allow or not allow something like this to happen? 2. What was the overall impact of the Treaty of Versailles? Posit how you would address the end of the war differently and what you would do to make sure something like this does not happen again in regard to the losing parties.  3. Read the two primary sources in Ways of the World Chapter 20.  In looking at Mein Kampf and Cardinal Principles of the National Entity of Japan, were the ideas in these documents new and revolutionary?  What aspects of modern life did they either embrace and/or reject?  Do any of their ideas still resonate in today’s political discourse?
