Use two cultural representations from the textbook to compare and contrast the treatment and representation of Native American and African women by Europeans during early American history.  Choose one cultural representation of or by a Native American woman and one cultural representation of or by an African woman. These could be visual images, poetry, narrative writings, etc.  Focusing on the cultural representations, discuss how they reflect European perceptions and treatment of these women.
