(no magic here) Positive: must make a positive statement about the existence of something 2. Establishing what methodology/design you would use in conducting your research 3.Determining your independent and dependent variables.  Please make sure you consider the different levels for your IV, and then how you are going to measure your DV, to produce a “relationship”. A paragraph or more for the positive hypothesis, methodology/design and independent/dependent variables.
