Please find your project scenario assignment below:  You work for a mid-sized IT firm, with a very rich 20 year history.  The firm provides IT staffing resources to financial services, pharmaceutical / life-sciences firms, and state government clients.  While the organization has continued to grow, management believes that growth will eventually start to get flat, and as a result, has appointed a committee of 3-4 people to develop a new 5 year plan which details out the mission, vision, goals, what both strategic and tactical growth looks like, what foundation needs to be put out there, and what success looks like.  This plan will have a set budget on a yearly basis over the next 5 years contingent on revenue for the company.  You’ll be tasked with developing the strategic plan and presenting it to a committee of stakeholders, board members and advisors.  The “Defining The Problem” document does not contain a scenario.  The document is meant to provide guidance on how to develop a strategic plan and the scenario within the document focuses on a sample problem, with a personal twist, designed to allow you to understand the project itself.
